About this role
Role overview
Lead product strategy and delivery for card and family banking services used by customers with varied support needs and by the people who assist them. This senior individual contributor role spans customer experiences, partner integrations, payment systems, operational processes, and regulatory considerations. You will work closely with external financial partners and internal teams, guiding complex initiatives from problem framing through reliable delivery.
Responsibilities
- Set near-term priorities and longer-term direction for card and family banking products. - Work with financial partners and clients to understand needs and shape scalable product solutions. - Connect customer-facing features with APIs, payment rails, partner infrastructure, and operational workflows. - Coordinate with engineering, design, operations, compliance, support, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality work. - Use customer conversations, data, prototypes, and AI tools to test assumptions and speed up learning. - Clarify requirements, document edge cases, improve processes, and help teams resolve delivery obstacles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, including substantial experience in financial technology. - Strong understanding of how financial products work across customers, partners, operations, and regulatory constraints. - Ability to move between product strategy and detailed execution in ambiguous, cross-functional environments. - Skill in building trust with external partners and internal stakeholders through clear, thoughtful communication. - Technical curiosity and enough architectural fluency to understand the systems underlying a product. - Evidence-driven judgment, comfort changing direction as facts evolve, and motivation to lead through influence rather than formal authority.
Benefits and work setup
- Mostly remote work across the United States, with occasional in-person team gatherings and small offices available. - Health, dental, and vision coverage; paid parental leave; 12 paid holidays; vacation; and a professional development budget. - Mission-focused work serving people whose financial needs may be underserved by traditional institutions.
