Role overview This role sits within a consumer finance analytics organization and partners directly with the Growth Marketing team to drive data-informed decisions across online acquisition channels. The analyst will build and improve reporting in Looker, evaluate marketing experiments, and develop scalable frameworks for measuring performance against metrics such as ROAS, LTV, CAC, and conversion rates. It is a hands-on, semi-embedded position that combines BI tooling, deep SQL analysis, and proactive insight generation.
Responsibilities - Build and improve analytics reporting and processes in Looker, including LookML development aligned with best practices. - Scope analytical questions with stakeholders and define appropriate KPIs and metrics for each use case. - Analyze marketing experiments across ad platforms, the mobile measurement partner, and CRM campaigns, including global holdouts. - Partner with Growth Marketing to translate business needs into data problems and prioritize the analytics roadmap. - Identify keyword cohort opportunities, build composite success measures, and study ad fatigue across the customer base. - Collaborate with data and analytics engineering on data mart and modeling requirements, and pursue automation to reduce technical debt.
Requirements - 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a closely related role. - 2+ years of marketing or growth analytics experience with modern martech such as MMPs, social and digital ad platforms, and SKAN. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker preferred; Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Omni, or Databricks also relevant). - Strong SQL background and comfort building quick analyses or proof-of-concept data models. - Familiarity with standard marketing measures such as LTV, NPV, CAC, cost per action, retention, ROAS, CTR, and CPM. - Strong cross-functional communication and ability to influence decisions with data.
Nice to have - Experience with the modern analytics stack, including BigQuery, Singular, Looker, dbt, Amplitude, and DeepNote. - Background in mobile app analytics and marketing attribution. - Familiarity with Agile or sprint-based delivery. - Genuine interest in emerging trends in marketing measurement and attribution.
