DevOps Cloud Architect (Azure)

Role overview A remote Azure-focused cloud architecture role designing, automating, and securing the infrastructure that supports a growing AI platform. The position blends hands-on DevOps engineering with architecture-level decision making across containers, CI/CD, and cloud services.

Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release workflows - Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) - Apply security and compliance controls across cloud environments - Mentor engineering teams and collaborate across functions on platform decisions

Requirements - Strong experience with Azure services and infrastructure provisioning - Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) - Proficiency with Git-based version control workflows - Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance fundamentals - Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams

Nice to have - Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 - Multi-cloud experience with AWS or GCP - Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and microservices architecture - Prior leadership or mentoring experience
