About this role
Role overview
A lead product role owning the roadmap of a top-performing mobile word game with more than 100 million Google Play downloads. The position leads a cross-functional LiveOps pod, balancing near-term retention and monetization performance with long-term player health, and shapes the economy, events, and feature cadence that keep a mature free-to-play title growing.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and execution for the game, leading a cross-functional pod responsible for the roadmap, delivery, and overall performance. - Drive sustainable growth by improving recurring engagement, retention, and monetization across the player lifecycle. - Prioritize and maintain the LiveOps calendar, balancing recurring events, content drops, offers, experiments, and larger feature investments. - Track core metrics and use cohort, funnel, segmentation, and feature data to guide roadmap decisions and follow-up actions. - Partner with Design, Production, Engineering, and Analytics to ship features and experiments, including defined hypotheses, success metrics, and guardrails. - Own and evolve the economy, progression systems, rewards, and offers to support motivation, retention, monetization, and long-term game health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field; graduate degree preferred. - Three or more years of game product management experience, ideally on a scaled free-to-play mobile title or other long-running live product. - Proven track record running LiveOps and improving retention, engagement, or monetization through events, content, offers, or features. - Strong understanding of free-to-play business models, LiveOps mechanics, in-game economies, and monetization systems. - Highly data-driven with the ability to design and interpret A/B tests, including hypotheses, metrics, guardrails, and follow-ups. - Strong prioritization, initiative, and communication skills; ability to travel to the Dallas office three to four times per year.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-eligible for candidates in specific U.S. states; Dallas-based candidates follow a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week. - Anticipated base salary range of USD $135,000 to $155,000, plus a benefits package and opportunities for continuous professional development.
