The engineer will be a primary hands-on builder of agentic workflows and RAG pipelines that automate account research, lead prioritization, and complex quoting logic. Responsibilities - Architect and code high-performance backend services and ML pipelines, spending the majority of time hands-on-keyboard. - Prototype and ship new internal products from scratch that leverage large language models and agentic AI. - Build the backend connective tissue between a custom quoting engine, Salesforce, and internal data lakes for a seamless end-to-end experience. - Solve complex synchronization and architectural challenges across the GTM stack to keep systems scalable and resilient. - Translate high-level goals into sequenced, production-ready code that delivers broad-impact capabilities. - Build flexible, decoupled backend systems that can evolve with the AI strategy, and embed deep observability into every shipped service.
Requirements - Extensive experience in backend languages such as Java, Go, or Python, with a track record of building complex distributed systems. - Practical, hands-on experience building LLM agents in a production environment. - Ability to implement event-driven architectures and manage high-integrity data flow across disparate systems. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Nice to have - Experience building internal sales-tech or fintech tools that directly impact revenue. - Familiarity with AWS data services such as SageMaker, Lambda, and SQS. - A passion for removing human-in-the-loop friction through intelligent automation.
Benefits and work setup - Hybrid work model that supports in-person collaboration alongside individual flexibility. - Base salary range of $151,000–$309,000 USD depending on geographic pay zone, plus potential equity, bonuses, commissions, and a benefits package. - A culture that emphasizes learning new AI tools across disciplines to build for customers faster and more independently.
