Onboarding Consultant I, Menu - Bilingual Mandarin

Role overview A restaurant technology company is building out a dedicated team to serve customers whose primary language is Mandarin. The Menu Onboarding Consultant guides restaurant operators through the configuration and launch of their point-of-sale system, acting as the customer's menu relationship manager from purchase through go-live and into early operations.

Responsibilities

- Build onboarding plans that deliver a high-quality implementation experience within timeline and budget - Consult with restaurant clients on configuration needs ahead of go-live and communicate unique requirements to project resources - Perform remote onboarding configurations and document the go-live process, flagging any deviations from best practices - Create and lead a training plan for the entire restaurant staff on how to use the configured system, focused on operational efficiencies around labor, food costs, table turn time, and guest experience - Manage a large book of onboarding engagements simultaneously, often 80 or more restaurants per region - Work autonomously under an Onboarding Manager to hit monthly activation goals

Requirements

- Bilingual and fluent in both Mandarin and English - 3+ years in a role responsible for customer satisfaction and long-term customer relationships (typically 4–6 weeks or longer) - Track record of operating independently and navigating competing priorities in a changing environment - Proven success meeting or exceeding goals - Strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills

Nice to have

- 1+ years of experience using point-of-sale software, ideally in the restaurant or service industry - Familiarity with Salesforce CRM - Background in the tech industry or at a SaaS company - Training, teaching, or coaching experience
