GTM Engineer - Sales Workflow Automation, Revenue Intelligence
Job details
About this role
Role overview A sales-led technology company is hiring a GTM Engineer to build the agents and automations that power its internal sales motion. You will write production code in Python against Salesforce, Snowflake, and LLM APIs, extend an internal sales AI platform with custom integrations, and turn call transcripts and deal data into actions that reach reps and managers proactively. Success is measured by whether revenue teams actually use what ships and close faster because of it.
Responsibilities - Build agentic workflows that automate high-volume sales work end to end, including follow-up drafting, deal-stage updates, task creation, and CRM or Slack notifications with approval gates - Integrate prospecting agents with adjacent systems such as quoting, pricing, and case creation so reps can move from signal to action in one workflow - Develop pipelines that pull conversation intelligence transcripts into Snowflake and the CRM, and produce next-best-action, deal-risk, and coaching signals for frontline managers - Operate production controls around it all: evals to catch regressions, observability tied to pipeline and revenue outcomes, permissions, sensitive-data handling, error recovery, and rollback - Build a third-party signal layer covering intent, news, and firmographic change that feeds account prioritization and win/loss analysis
Requirements - Proficiency in Python (TypeScript also works) and strong SQL, with a track record of writing production-grade, tested code and debugging AI-generated code - At least one LLM-powered workflow or agent shipped to a business team in production, built against an LLM API (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) or an agent framework such as LangGraph or Claude Agent SDK - Hands-on Salesforce experience covering data model, Flow, APIs, permissions, and the consequences of bad data at scale - Comfort working in a modern data warehouse (Snowflake preferred) for pipeline QA, transformation, and validation - Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and cross-system integration troubleshooting - Typically 4 to 6+ years across GTM engineering, business systems, solutions or forward deployed engineering, data engineering, or software engineering applied to sales or marketing
Nice to have - Experience with MCP, RAG, or evaluation frameworks; Salesforce Apex or Platform Developer certification; dbt or similar transformation tooling - Familiarity with conversation intelligence platforms (Gong, Chorus), enrichment tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, Demandbase), and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Sigma) - Background in multi-product, multi-segment SaaS or fintech sales motions
Benefits and work setup - Zone-based US base salary ranges from approximately $94,000 to $192,000 depending on location, plus bonus eligibility and equity - Fully remote within the United States with a hybrid-friendly culture that values in-person collaboration when helpful
