Senior Systems Support Engineer (Java or C#/.NET) - (Advanced English)

Role overview Support the stability, availability, and day-to-day operation of complex business applications while contributing to incident response and continuous delivery. The role combines application troubleshooting, monitoring, code changes, and operational improvement, alongside mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities - Use incident management processes and monitoring data to investigate service issues, prepare reports, and take corrective action. - Trace business-impacting problems through complex applications and debug the underlying code or configuration. - Apply logging, alerting, and monitoring practices to identify root causes and improve operational stability. - Use DevOps and continuous delivery practices to deploy, support, and improve software. - Deliver well-tested bug fixes and enhancements, following agreed engineering standards and security practices. - Mentor junior colleagues and contribute technical guidance to collaborative teams.

Requirements - Experience programming in Java or C#/.NET, with scripting ability in Python or PowerShell. - Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and architectures including monoliths, layered systems, microservices, or serverless applications. - Strong debugging and incident triage skills. - Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL; familiarity with non-relational databases is also relevant. - Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines. - Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana, and ability to interpret metrics and act on findings. - Strong English communication skills, including confidence discussing technical topics with senior stakeholders.
