QA Automation Engineer with TypeScript and Playwright, AI Platform

Role overview Help protect the quality, reliability, and performance of services in an evolving AI platform. This is a hands-on automation role with emphasis on backend behavior and API testing, working closely with engineering and product colleagues to make releases more dependable.

Responsibilities - Create and maintain automated test suites using TypeScript and Playwright. - Run functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end tests for product changes. - Work with developers and product partners to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. - Record defects with clear reproduction steps, and assess the testing impact of application changes. - Improve test frameworks, test data practices, coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency. - Contribute to CI/CD test runs and release validation.

Requirements - Practical QA automation experience with TypeScript and Playwright. - Experience designing and maintaining automated end-to-end and regression tests. - Understanding of testing principles, QA processes, and defect tracking. - Experience testing web applications and APIs, with familiarity with modern frontend technologies. - Ability to collaborate in an Agile team with developers and product owners. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have Experience with API testing tools, CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, performance or accessibility testing, data or analytics products, or test reporting and quality dashboards.
