Frontend Software Engineer (100% Remote - worldwide)

Role overview Build and improve frontend experiences for a cross-platform application focused on private data sharing and real-time communication. The work includes turning AI capabilities into usable interfaces while maintaining a responsive, reliable experience across supported platforms.

Responsibilities - Deliver frontend features and bug fixes with attention to reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. - Build responsive interfaces and manage application state across platforms. - Keep code modular and maintainable through coding standards, reviews, and automated tests. - Debug complex frontend issues and improve rendering and memory performance.

Requirements - Production experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript or TypeScript. - Competence with state management tools such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand. - Ability to write well-tested, modular frontend code and debug complex applications. - Strong communication skills and comfort working with a distributed team. - Interest or experience in peer-to-peer technology or distributed systems.

Nice to have - Desktop application experience with Electron, Tauri, or a similar runtime. - Familiarity with WebRTC, media streams, or other real-time audio and video APIs. - Experience with cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, or Linux. - Contributions to open-source projects, especially in peer-to-peer or decentralized technology.
