Software / Web Engineer - Remote Latam

Role overview Build and operate responsive web applications, with ownership spanning feature development, testing, deployment, and production support. The work combines front-end engineering with AWS operations, with a focus on secure, accessible, reliable experiences.

Responsibilities - Turn product and design needs into web features and reusable interfaces using modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks. - Integrate APIs, authentication, analytics, and third-party services; check behavior across browsers and devices. - Improve accessibility, performance, and usability, and add automated tests for important user journeys. - Deploy and maintain applications in AWS, monitor health and errors, and troubleshoot production issues with platform and SRE partners. - Support repeatable CI/CD, deployment and rollback practices, code reviews, technical documentation, and production support as needed. - Use AI coding tools where useful, while reviewing generated code and protecting sensitive information.

Requirements - At least 3 years developing production web applications. - Strong JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills, plus experience with a framework such as React, Vue, or Angular. - Experience building responsive, accessible applications and integrating APIs and authentication. - Knowledge of web security practices and experience maintaining automated tests. - Strong Git and CI/CD experience, plus hands-on AWS deployment and troubleshooting experience. - An active AWS certification, with strong debugging skills and the ability to work independently and across teams.

Nice to have - AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification. - Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic development tools with sound technical judgment.
