UI/UX Engineer - Remote LATAM

Role overview Combine product design with hands-on front-end engineering to take digital experiences from discovery through launch and iteration. You’ll turn user and business needs into clear workflows, polished accessible interfaces, and reusable components, then help build and validate the result with product and engineering partners.

Responsibilities - Map user journeys, create wireframes and prototypes, and design complete feature experiences, including error, loading, and recovery states. - Use user feedback, analytics, and usability reviews to identify friction and improve key tasks. - Build and maintain design patterns and reusable UI components, keeping design documentation aligned with the implemented product. - Develop responsive, production-ready interfaces and integrate them with APIs alongside application and backend engineers. - Check work across devices and browsers for accessibility, usability, performance, and design fidelity; validate important journeys before and after release. - Collaborate on scope, priorities, acceptance criteria, technical trade-offs, and reviews; document work so others can maintain it.

Requirements - A portfolio showing product design judgment and shipped digital experiences, including ownership from problem discovery through launch and iteration. - Strong interaction and visual design skills, with proficiency in Figma or a comparable design and prototyping tool. - Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript skills, plus experience with a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue. - Experience creating responsive interfaces and reusable component systems. - Working knowledge of accessibility and practical usability testing, including keyboard navigation, focus, semantic markup, and contrast. - Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and shared documentation; clear communication, openness to feedback, and ability to deliver within agreed scope and timelines. - Comfort using AI development tools and reviewing their output with sound design and engineering judgment.
