About this role
Role overview Help application teams build, review, test, and ship reliable desktop and mobile software with less friction. You’ll own developer tools and automation across applications and shared runtime packages, including integrating AI agents into engineering workflows and shaping how teams use them.
Responsibilities - Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, along with the repository guidance and integrations they need. - Build CI and scheduled agents that investigate failures, suggest fixes, and provide actionable evidence to engineers. - Improve automated pull request reviews by checking finding accuracy and reducing reviewer noise. - Create code quality checks for complexity, oversized files or functions, dependency cycles, and performance regressions; agree on practical thresholds with package owners. - Improve development environments, tests, builds, and release workflows so changes can be verified reliably. - Work with engineering teams to prioritize improvements, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and track effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.
Requirements - Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by other engineers. - Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js skills. - Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents. - Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and diagnosing build, test, or integration failures. - A focus on maintainable code, useful automated checks, and refactoring that preserves behavior. - Ability to work independently, collaborate, and communicate clearly in English with a distributed team.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote work with a globally distributed team. - Hands-on ownership from implementation through adoption and ongoing support, with scope to shape the tooling roadmap.
