Freelance Software Tester With Smart TVs (Remote in Italy)

Role overview

Short-term freelance software testing work for a streaming application on Smart TVs using Titan OS. Testers will follow provided scenarios, assess functional behavior, and document findings through an online defect-tracking workflow during October and November.

Responsibilities

- Set up the assigned testing account and follow the provided preparation materials. - Install the application build on an eligible television according to instructions. - Execute functional test cases covering navigation, playback, sign-in and account behavior, subtitles, audio, content discovery, localization, live events, and general quality. - Report defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting screenshots or recordings. - Provide feedback about issues and overall test results for each assigned run.

Requirements

- Be at least 18 years old. - Be physically located in Italy during October and November. - Be comfortable navigating a streaming application in Italian; native or bilingual Italian is preferred. - Have access to a Smart TV running Titan OS. - Allow about 30 minutes for account setup and typically 2–4 hours for a testing assignment; some runs may last up to 12 hours. - Prior software testing experience is helpful but not required.
