Consulting Director – Cloud, Data & AI (AWS)

Role overview

Lead enterprise Cloud, Data and AI advisory engagements for organisations undertaking complex technology transformation. This senior consulting role combines executive-level client guidance, strategic roadmapping, solution shaping and oversight of delivery, with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes rather than technology selection alone.

Responsibilities

- Advise CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and other senior technology stakeholders. - Facilitate discovery workshops, strategy sessions and technology-roadmap planning. - Shape large-scale cloud, data and AI transformation programmes, including legacy modernisation. - Work with engineering and delivery teams to translate strategic direction into successful execution. - Contribute to strategic opportunities, proposals, bids and executive presentations. - Mentor senior consultants and architects while helping evolve consulting propositions.

Requirements

- Significant enterprise consulting experience gained within a major cloud provider or technology consultancy. - Experience as a Principal or Senior Solutions Architect, or in an equivalent senior advisory role. - A customer-facing background involving executive stakeholders, workshops and strategic decision-making. - Experience leading enterprise cloud, data or AI transformation programmes. - Commercial solution-shaping and pre-sales experience. - Experience supporting industry events, customer forums or thought-leadership activity.

Nice to have

- Experience working with financial services, retail, gaming or public-sector organisations.
