About this role
Role overview A remote Associate Project Manager role coordinating custom collaboration projects brought in through business development, clinical collaborations, or other bespoke opportunities in a precision medicine and clinical diagnostics environment. The position spans the full project lifecycle, from scoping and initiation through sample processing and closeout, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and partner teams. It supports pharma projects and custom collaborations running through operational groups to ensure samples and data move successfully through the organization.
Responsibilities - Oversee project management for custom collaboration projects, documenting initiation through closing and monitoring project and sample progress through the lifecycle. - Support interdepartmental coordination of sample receipt through reporting, ensuring chain of custody of samples and data is validated and functioning as intended. - Assist in scoping new opportunities and analyzing workflow impact across the operational teams. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, communicating with internal and external stakeholders. - Collate and store documentation records, ensuring audit-ready project artifacts are maintained.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a life or physical science. - 3+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 2+ years of formal project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives through the full lifecycle from initiation to closeout. - Demonstrated proficiency with digital project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Trello. - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer and service focus. - Demonstrated knowledge of operational and logistical aspects of clinical testing and regulatory requirements, including GCP, with the ability to influence without authority.

Benefits and work setup - Remote role based in the United States. The posted salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually for California-based applicants and may vary by location, with a full benefits package that may include incentive compensation and restricted stock units.
