About this role
Role overview A technical program management role on a global data centre systems engineering team that designs, standardises, and scales the systems behind large-scale AI infrastructure. The position drives strategic, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through operational adoption, combining program management, process engineering, and business analysis. It is a remote-first role.
Responsibilities - Own cross-functional initiatives across analytics, metrics, data integrations, operational tooling, and systems engineering. - Plan and govern scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, resourcing, and stakeholder communications, ensuring measurable outcomes. - Run discovery sessions to understand operational pain points, process gaps, and technical requirements, then recommend future-state options. - Translate business needs into clear system and business requirements, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and delivery plans. - Build and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, swim lanes, and systems diagrams, and facilitate walkthroughs to confirm alignment. - Promote harmonised standards, validation practices, and documentation while accounting for site-specific operational requirements. - Guide initiatives from discovery and requirements through implementation, adoption, and operational handoff. - Produce technical and executive-ready reporting that makes progress, risks, decisions, outcomes, and business value clear. - Apply relevant software development lifecycle methodologies throughout delivery.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, computer science, information technology, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, PMO operations, business analysis, or program coordination within infrastructure, industrial, hardware-intensive, or similarly complex environments. - Experience delivering projects using waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through operational adoption. - Strong expertise in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, business and systems documentation, process mapping, and gap analysis. - Hands-on experience with project and work management tools such as Planview, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms, and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Figma, Visio, or mind-mapping software. - Strong organisational skills and sound judgement when managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Nice to have - Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma practices. - Experience supporting executive communications and decision-making forums. - Background in data centre infrastructure, operational technology, or large-scale infrastructure delivery.
Benefits and work setup - Highly competitive compensation package including base salary and equity, with reviews every 12 months. - Flexible, remote-first working environment that treats employees as humans first and offers autonomy over how the workday is structured. - Dynamic progression plan tailored to individual ambitions, with support for trying new things, leading initiatives, and challenging the status quo.
