Product Manager

Role overview A Product Manager role for an internal technology organization that builds software for the commercial real estate industry. The position focuses on the affordable equity platform within a broader product suite, partnering with capital providers, fellow product managers, business stakeholders, and technical leadership to deliver solutions that streamline deal execution and address user needs.

Responsibilities - Develop and drive the product roadmap for the assigned area, guiding critical capabilities from concept through delivery to the customer. - Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges, user needs, and desired outcomes, and translate those insights into product solutions. - Translate product strategy into clear and detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes that support successful product development. - Serve as Product Owner for assigned scrum teams, working closely with engineers throughout development to deliver high-quality products on time. - Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical leadership to align product priorities and support effective decision-making. - Engage with customers and partners to communicate roadmap updates, gather product feedback, and better understand their needs and challenges. - Identify opportunities to improve existing capabilities and extend the product offering based on feedback from customers, partners, and stakeholders. - Maintain a strong understanding of end users, including their workflows, needs, and pain points, and incorporate that perspective into product decisions.

Requirements - Three or more years of product management or related experience. - Background working in an Agile environment and partnering with technical teams to deliver products or capabilities. - Demonstrated success translating business and user needs into clear product requirements and user stories. - Proven track record collaborating with business stakeholders, customers, partners, and technical teams. - Strong understanding of user needs, workflows, challenges, and pain points, with the ability to incorporate the user perspective into product decisions. - Agile mindset with a willingness to work iteratively, provide timely feedback, and adapt as needs evolve, plus strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. - Clear and effective communication of product concepts, requirements, priorities, and decisions to a variety of audiences, and strong organizational skills with the capacity to balance multiple priorities.
