Role overview
Design and deliver solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) that extend, integrate and modernize enterprise SAP environments. Work with business and IT stakeholders across long-term remote engagements, guiding solutions from requirements workshops through implementation, launch and ongoing support.
Responsibilities - Assess business needs and design BTP extensions, integrations and process automation solutions. - Configure and maintain BTP accounts, subaccounts, entitlements and services. - Set up integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud products and third-party systems, including through SAP Integration Suite. - Support connectivity and security configuration involving Cloud Connector, destinations and identity services. - Facilitate stakeholder workshops and turn requirements into functional specifications for development teams. - Assist with testing, go-live and continued operation, collaborating with developers, architects and other consultants.
Requirements - At least 3 years in SAP projects, including 1–2 years working with SAP BTP. - Solid understanding of BTP account structures, services, connectivity and security. - Practical experience in at least one BTP area, such as Integration Suite, SAP Build or extension development. - German proficiency at B2 level or higher, plus fluent written and spoken English. - Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Nice to have - SAP S/4HANA experience and familiarity with clean core or side-by-side extension approaches. - Knowledge of APIs such as OData and REST, and common integration patterns. - SAP BTP certification.
