Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android)

Role overview Build and maintain mobile apps that bring real-time translation and other AI capabilities to users. The work spans iOS or Android development, accessible interface design, on-device machine learning, and performance tuning, in close collaboration with design and AI colleagues.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain native iOS and Android applications. - Create accessible interfaces that follow platform conventions. - Integrate on-device machine learning for real-time translation. - Improve responsiveness and battery use. - Work with design and AI teams to deliver new features.

Requirements - At least four years of mobile development experience on iOS or Android. - Strong Swift or Kotlin skills and familiarity with the relevant platform SDKs. - Experience with accessibility features, including VoiceOver or TalkBack. - Understanding of how to integrate on-device machine learning. - Interest in building inclusive user experiences.

Nice to have - Experience with cross-platform tools such as React Native or Flutter. - Familiarity with camera features or real-time video processing. - Background in accessibility technology.
