Role overview
Lead development of a native desktop runtime, shaping the operating system integrations that make the application feel like a fully realized Mac experience. As a founding engineer, you will own work across the desktop shell, core runtime, and native capabilities.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain the desktop application shell using Tauri. - Develop the core runtime in Rust. - Integrate with native operating system capabilities, including screen capture and accessibility information. - Implement system audio and notification routing integrations. - Make product decisions that improve the quality and cohesion of the Mac application experience.
