Role overview

This role focuses on building automations that connect AI models, external APIs, internal company data, and human review steps into production-ready workflows. The goal is to make operational automations observable, recoverable, and safe enough to run reliably in production environments.

Responsibilities

- Build automations that integrate AI models, third-party APIs, internal data sources, and human review checkpoints. - Make operational workflows observable so issues can be detected, traced, and audited. - Ensure automations are recoverable from failure states without data loss or silent corruption. - Apply safety practices so workflows are safe to run in production alongside live systems.

Requirements

- Hands-on engineering experience building automations that combine model calls, API integrations, and internal systems. - Ability to design for observability, recovery, and production safety from the start rather than retrofitting later.

Nice to have

- Background spanning applied AI engineering, backend engineering, or platform engineering, depending on the workflow surface area.
