Software Engineer (C# & .NET)

Role overview Build and maintain core domain services for a platform operating in a regulated financial environment. The services use C# and .NET in an event-driven architecture on Kafka and AWS, with a strong focus on dependable behavior, clear operational insight, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain domain services in C# and .NET within a service-based, event-driven system. - Build for auditability, resilience, and observability, and deliver thoroughly tested code. - Review colleagues’ code and contribute to a consistent engineering standard. - Apply Domain-Driven Design and hexagonal architecture in service design. - Collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Regulatory teams to turn requirements into working software. - Use AI tools in the development workflow while maintaining code quality, delivery accountability, and system reliability.

Requirements - Software engineering experience building and maintaining services with C# and .NET. - Familiarity with Kafka, AWS, and event-driven or service-based architectures. - Ability to produce maintainable, well-tested software and consider auditability, resilience, and observability. - Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and hexagonal architecture. - Effective collaboration and code review skills across engineering and partner teams. - A strong sense of ownership for delivery and the reliability of software in a regulated setting.
