AI Engineer (Python & DevOps)

Role overview A senior AI engineering role with a strong DevOps slant, focused on developing, enhancing, and operating AI-driven applications. The position combines hands-on backend implementation with responsibility for keeping systems healthy, optimized, and easy to release end-to-end.

Responsibilities - Develop and enhance high-performance backend services that support AI-driven applications. - Containerize applications and manage deployments onto OpenShift and Kubernetes. - Maintain and improve Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and broader automation. - Investigate logs and runtime behavior to diagnose and resolve production issues. - Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and frontend teams on architecture and technology decisions. - Document work in Confluence and estimate, plan, and track tasks in Jira.

Requirements - Proven experience as an AI engineer or backend engineer with significant DevOps responsibilities. - Strong Python skills for building API-based services and microservices. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, including Jenkins pipelines. - Practical knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization workflows. - Ability to operate across the full lifecycle from code through production deployment. - Comfort collaborating across teams and contributing to architectural decisions.
