About this role
Role overview Design, build, and operate core parts of an enterprise platform that helps organizations run and govern AI agents in their own Kubernetes environments. As a senior engineer on the core platform team, you will take subsystems from technical design into production, where they must work reliably within customer infrastructure and security constraints. You will also help customers move from evaluation to production and shape platform improvements using their feedback.
Responsibilities - Own platform subsystems end to end, including design, implementation, production readiness, and continued improvement. - Write production Go code with appropriate observability, testing, and error handling for software deployed in customer Kubernetes environments. - Make technical design decisions with product and engineering leaders, and mentor other engineers. - Help customers deploy and operate the platform; diagnose issues in their environments and deliver fixes or product improvements. - Contribute to an open-source platform codebase and collaborate with its community. - Improve engineering workflows by applying AI-assisted development practices and creating reusable tools and playbooks.
Requirements - Strong Go skills and a track record of designing and shipping production-grade distributed systems in commercial software. - Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes applications in production; exposure to multiple cloud environments is useful. - Experience mentoring engineers, giving thoughtful code reviews, and improving team engineering practices. - Ability to work directly with customers on onboarding and debugging, then turn findings into product changes. - Strong written and spoken communication, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences. - A self-directed, practical approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
Benefits and work setup - Remote position based in North America, with a preference for the U.S. Eastern time zone. - Base salary range of $189,000–$231,000, plus equity. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage; flexible paid time off and holidays; paid parental leave; and team gatherings.
