About this role
Role overview This is a customer-facing technical support role for an AI-powered browser-based application builder and online development environment. The engineer will troubleshoot real user issues, advocate internally for product improvements, and help shape self-serve resources that scale support beyond one-to-one conversations.
Responsibilities - Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported via email, chat, and occasional video calls, owning problems from first report through resolution. - Serve as a public-facing technical voice on social platforms and live events, answering questions with empathy, clarity, and credibility. - Surface bugs, product gaps, and user-pattern insights to Product and Engineering with clear, actionable context. - Create and refine documentation, how-tos, and AI-driven knowledge-base content so users can self-serve effectively. - Partner with internal teams to identify emerging issues early and assist with pre-release QA and testing. - Reduce repeat support volume by building scalable resources and tightening the customer-to-product feedback loop.
Requirements - Hands-on troubleshooting experience with modern frontend tooling such as Vite, React, Tailwind, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Familiarity with databases, API integrations, and Chrome DevTools. - Working understanding of large language models and prompt-crafting techniques. - Exceptional written communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and calmly. - Customer-first mindset and comfort representing a brand publicly in constructive, on-brand conversations. - Self-directed learner who thrives in fast-moving, minimally supervised environments. - Must be located in a Western European or American time zone.
Nice to have - Prior experience as a public-facing developer, advocate, or technical community voice. - Background in building or maintaining developer documentation and AI knowledge bases.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote position; multiple hires being made. - Globally distributed team culture. - No college degree required to apply, and U.S. location is not required.
