Role overview Senior Project Manager role within a PMO, leading the planning and execution of the organization's most complex, high-visibility IT and business programs. The role emphasizes AI-driven transformation, coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders while acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership. This is a temporary contract engagement with potential for extension, remote-first, open to candidates located anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex, high-visibility programs as a trusted IT and business partner, delivering solutions that meet business and technical requirements. - Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders, including sales, client success, finance, product, and others, to ensure strategic alignment. - Leverage a variety of AI assistants (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude) to accelerate research, content generation, and day-to-day productivity. - Drive the design and delivery of AI automations and AI-enabled projects across the enterprise, measuring impact on productivity, cost, and scale. - Partner with Procurement, Legal, InfoSec, and business stakeholders on RFPs and ROI analysis with third parties. - Identify and manage program risks and issues, ensuring proactive mitigation across interdependent workstreams. - Provide executive-ready updates to senior management on program progress, status, and issues. - Measure program performance and lead post-project evaluations to reconcile outcomes against projected ROIs.
Requirements - Extensive, proven experience delivering complex programs with a track record of timely, outcomes-based delivery. - A senior consultant's ability to enter a new environment, build credibility quickly, and operate autonomously. - Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and advising on portfolio-level priorities. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and facilitation skills, including the ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority. - Experience building and optimizing end-to-end AI automations using tools such as Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and Workato. - Track record of navigating and assessing a diverse portfolio of SaaS solutions (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot). - Proficiency with project management software such as Smartsheet, Jira, and MS Project. - Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, International Business, Management, or a related field.
Nice to have - PMP or CSM certification.
