Role overview This is a product management role dedicated to the public sector, building and shipping offerings tailored to government, education, and civic customers. The position is remote-friendly but requires travel, with a base in Washington, DC to maintain proximity to federal stakeholders, policy environments, and partner ecosystems. The product manager will shape roadmap, go-to-market, and customer engagement for a segment with distinct compliance, procurement, and mission considerations.
Responsibilities - Define and drive the roadmap for products and capabilities serving public sector buyers and end users. - Partner with sales, policy, legal, and engineering teams to navigate procurement, security, and compliance requirements. - Conduct customer research with government agencies, system integrators, and mission owners to validate priorities. - Develop positioning, case studies, and reference programs tailored to public sector decision-makers. - Represent the product function at industry events, working groups, and partner forums.
Requirements - Demonstrated experience as a product manager, ideally with public sector, regulated industry, or enterprise software products. - Comfort working with federal procurement, contracting, and security review frameworks. - Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, policy, and executive audiences. - Willingness to travel regularly and work from a Washington, DC office periodically.
Nice to have - Existing network among federal, state, or local government technology buyers. - Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or related compliance regimes.
