Staff Product Manager, ML Foundations and GenAI

Role overview A senior product leadership role owning the strategy and roadmap for machine learning foundations and generative AI capabilities. The position partners closely with engineering, research, and applied product teams to deliver shared ML infrastructure and GenAI-powered product experiences.

Responsibilities - Define the multi-year vision and quarterly roadmap for ML platform capabilities and GenAI product surfaces - Partner with ML engineers and researchers to prioritize foundational investments such as model serving, evaluation, and data pipelines - Lead cross-functional programs that bring generative AI features from research into production - Establish success metrics, experimentation frameworks, and quality bars for AI-powered experiences - Mentor other product managers and contribute to broader product strategy across the organization

Requirements - Extensive product management experience, including prior ownership of ML, data, or AI products - Strong technical fluency with the ability to engage credibly with research scientists and engineers - Track record of shipping platform or infrastructure products used by other teams at scale - Excellent written and verbal communication, with comfort presenting to senior leadership - Based in or able to work across Seattle, San Francisco, or New York, or remotely within the US

Nice to have - Direct experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or applied GenAI systems - Background in developer platforms, APIs, or technical product surfaces
