Senior Data Analyst, Business Intelligence

Role overview

This role supports a self-serve programmatic advertising platform powered by AI, where the Business Intelligence team enables data-driven decisions across the organization. The senior analyst will own advanced reporting and analytics for multiple stakeholders, driving strategic planning and operational insights within the Advertising Technologies department. The position is based in Canada and operates within a remote-first culture.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting solutions that support decision-making across multiple teams and business segments. - Lead end-to-end analysis projects, defining technical requirements for ETL processes and data models. - Develop customized KPIs and metrics that quantify business performance, risks, and opportunities. - Identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing validation frameworks and best practices across the BI team. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on reporting needs and present findings clearly at all levels. - Leverage AI and LLM tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize at least two reporting workflows.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role with a strong track record delivering advanced reporting for multiple stakeholder teams. - Advanced SQL skills with the ability to define ETL requirements and work with complex, heterogeneous datasets. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalents, including executive-ready dashboards. - Strong communication skills and experience presenting data-driven findings to senior management. - Demonstrated ability to identify data quality root causes and implement systematic solutions.
