Role overview A B2B SaaS organisation is hiring a Data Operations Assistant to keep day-to-day business and product data accurate, organised, and ready for the teams that depend on it. The role is hands-on and process-driven, involving data entry, quality checks, and light reporting within internal systems and spreadsheets. It is a remote-first entry-level opportunity suited to someone who enjoys structured work and learning new tools quickly.
Responsibilities - Enter, update, and maintain information across internal systems and spreadsheets. - Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, flagging anomalies for resolution. - Process information received from different internal and external sources following documented procedures. - Identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records and help resolve them in collaboration with other teams. - Perform regular data checks and routine quality-control tasks, maintaining trackers and operational records. - Prepare basic reports and summaries for internal teams, keeping documentation and process instructions current.
Requirements - 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administration, operations, or a related role. - Comfort working with spreadsheets and web-based business systems, with basic Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets proficiency. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to handle repetitive work consistently. - Good organisational and time-management skills, with clear written communication. - Comfortable learning new software and working independently.
Nice to have - Experience working with databases, CRM systems, or other business applications. - Familiarity with data quality or data-processing tasks. - Basic knowledge of reporting or data analysis. - Background in a SaaS, technology, or operations environment.
