Embedded Software Engineer

Role overview Develop embedded software for systems used in quantum communication. The work spans firmware design and implementation, performance tuning, and system architecture, with close coordination across software and hardware teams. The position is full time and based in Singapore, with remote work in the APAC region also described.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain embedded software for communication systems. - Implement cryptographic and key-handling functions using secure coding practices. - Bring up development boards and debug firmware on target hardware. - Integrate software with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and secure hardware modules. - Diagnose software issues and improve firmware performance and stability. - Work with hardware and other technical colleagues to meet system requirements.

Requirements - Strong C or C++ programming skills for embedded systems. - Experience developing embedded software and applying software design methods. - Ability to debug and optimize firmware performance. - A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. - Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to explain technical ideas and collaborate.

Nice to have - Experience with quantum technologies, or an interest in quantum communication and security.
