Role overview Senior iOS engineer opportunity on a rapidly growing text-to-speech reading platform that converts a wide range of written content into audio for millions of users. The app is a top-ranked productivity title and was recently honored for inclusive design, and the engineer will help evolve the codebase, shape new features, and support an expanding audience within a fully distributed, high-velocity team.
Responsibilities - Lead impactful engineering and product decisions across the iOS codebase - Ship production code frequently to deliver value to a large user base - Contribute inside a dedicated product team to plan and prioritize work - Shape the product roadmap through active participation in planning discussions - Maintain and improve a complex, mature iOS application architecture
Requirements - Strong command of Swift and SwiftUI for production iOS development - Solid experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming patterns - Working knowledge of CI/CD systems and Fastlane for release automation - Comfort with Git workflows, including branching and merging strategies - Proven track record engineering consumer products from inception through scale - Product-minded approach with a focus on user experience and rapid iteration
Nice to have - Experience applying SOLID principles throughout a mobile codebase - Background supporting accessibility or inclusive product design - Familiarity with audio, speech, or AI-driven consumer applications
