A senior iOS engineer is needed to help scale and evolve a leading text-to-speech productivity app used by tens of millions of readers worldwide. The role sits inside a fast-moving, fully distributed product team that ships consumer software across iOS, Android, macOS, and the web. The position blends hands-on iOS engineering with product decision-making, making it well suited for someone who enjoys shaping roadmap direction alongside writing production code.
Responsibilities
- Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS application - Ship production Swift and SwiftUI code on a continuous basis - Collaborate within a dedicated product team focused on the iOS experience - Contribute to roadmap discussions and influence feature direction - Maintain and enhance a complex existing app architecture
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building products that have scaled to a large user base - A track record of taking products from inception through meaningful traction, owning engineering outcomes - Strong customer obsession and a focus on delivering the best possible user experience - Product-thinking mindset with the ability to support designers and cross-functional partners toward the right direction - Comfort operating with speed and judgement about what to ship now versus later - Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, SOLID design principles, and Git workflows
