Role overview A widely adopted text-to-speech platform used by more than fifty million people globally is hiring a senior iOS engineer for a fully remote role aligned with Bogotá, Colombia. The opportunity centers on scaling a celebrated accessibility-focused productivity app, blending hands-on Swift work with product strategy on a distributed, high-ownership team.
Responsibilities - Lead and contribute to engineering and product decisions within the iOS application - Ship production-grade Swift code as a core member of a dedicated product team - Actively inform roadmap discussions and help shape near-term product direction - Maintain and evolve a complex existing mobile app architecture - Work alongside designers, AI researchers, and backend engineers to deliver a polished user experience
Requirements - Demonstrated success shipping consumer applications that scaled to large user bases - Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with disciplined application of SOLID principles - Experience implementing multithreading programming on iOS - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Fastlane - Solid command of Git, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows
