Software Engineer, AI Data - Vilnius, Lithuania

Role overview Build the data systems that supply audio for machine learning training and future AI products. You’ll work across backend engineering, data infrastructure, and research to make large datasets reliable, useful, and efficient to process.

Responsibilities - Find audio data sources and create dependable pipelines to incorporate them into training datasets. - Build and refine large-scale processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput, and cost. - Work with AI researchers to improve datasets and support new model development. - Lead engineering work from identifying a problem through delivery and ongoing improvement.

Requirements - A degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - At least five years of software engineering experience and strong backend fundamentals. - Proficiency with Python and Bash in Linux environments. - Experience building and operating production systems, ideally for data pipelines or large-scale processing. - Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and comfort working independently through ambiguity.

Nice to have - Experience with web crawling, data acquisition, or distributed processing. - Cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code experience, especially GCP and Terraform. - Familiarity with machine learning datasets, dataset quality, or audio processing.
