Software Engineer, AI Data - Budapest, Hungary

Role overview Build the data pipelines and processing systems that supply audio datasets for machine learning and future AI products. The work spans finding useful data sources, improving large-scale data quality and throughput, and partnering with AI researchers to make training more effective.

Responsibilities - Identify audio data sources and create dependable pipelines to ingest them into training datasets. - Develop and operate large-scale processing systems, balancing data quality, speed, and cost. - Work with AI researchers to improve datasets and support development of new models. - Take engineering projects from initial investigation through implementation and ongoing refinement.

Requirements - At least five years of software engineering experience and solid backend fundamentals. - Proficiency with Python and Bash in Linux environments. - Experience building and operating production systems; data pipelines or large-scale processing are especially relevant. - A computer science or related degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently amid ambiguity.

Nice to have - Experience with web crawling, data acquisition, or distributed processing. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code, particularly GCP and Terraform. - Knowledge of machine learning datasets, data quality, or audio processing.
