Role overview A Senior Product Manager is needed to drive growth and innovation for a healthcare data platform that helps organizations collect, structure, and exchange health information. The role combines deep healthcare market knowledge with entrepreneurial product leadership, partnering closely with Technical Product Managers to turn strategic vision into scalable, interoperable solutions.
Responsibilities - Identify unmet market opportunities in healthcare and design strategic capabilities to capitalize on them. - Collaborate with the Director of Product Management on overarching product strategy and positioning for platform components. - Partner with Technical Product Managers to guide prioritization, provide market context, and translate business needs into actionable development backlogs. - Conduct competitive research and market analysis to benchmark differentiators and inform roadmap decisions. - Champion assigned products through internal enablement, customer conversations, webinars, demos, and industry presentations. - Develop product communication materials, sales strategies, and training in partnership with cross-functional leaders.
Requirements - 7+ years in Product Management, Product Strategy, Health Informatics, or a related role driving software product development. - Deep healthcare industry knowledge with a track record of identifying market gaps and delivering complex software products or platforms. - Entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, design, and engineering from conception through market launch. - Demonstrated consultative experience engaging executive-level clients, prospects, and partners. - Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication and time management skills.
Nice to have - Technical familiarity with healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA), terminology standards (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10), RESTful APIs, and modern stacks (Java, Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka). - Experience working with engineering and architecture teams in cloud-native environments and with CI/CD or software release cycles.
