Senior Product Manager - Remote Canada

Role overview This Senior Product Manager role operates like an in-house entrepreneur, identifying unmet market opportunities in healthcare and shaping product capabilities on a FHIR-based health data platform used in more than 20 countries. The role spans the full lifecycle from opportunity identification through design, development, launch, sales enablement, and implementation, partnering tightly with Technical Product Managers who handle day-to-day execution. It is a remote role based in Canada, where healthcare domain knowledge and market intuition outweigh deep technical fluency.

Responsibilities - Identify unmet market opportunities in healthcare and translate them into strategic product direction under the Director of Product Management. - Partner closely with Technical Product Managers to set priorities, supply market context, and turn business needs into actionable development backlogs. - Run deep competitive and market analysis to benchmark capabilities and surface differentiators for the platform. - Develop product communication assets such as presentations, articles, white papers, training materials, and demos for internal and external audiences. - Evangelize product features and roadmaps through webinars, industry events, and customer conversations with payers, providers, prospects, and partners. - Champion capabilities tied to healthcare data workflows, keeping platform features relevant to payer and provider use cases.

Requirements - 7+ years in product management, product strategy, health informatics, or a related role driving software product development. - Deep healthcare industry knowledge with a track record of identifying market gaps and delivering complex software products in healthcare environments. - Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, design, and engineering from concept to market. - Consultative experience facilitating meetings with executive-level clients, prospects, and partners, with strong written and verbal communication. - Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented approach with strong time management and a creative, solution-oriented mindset. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have - Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA), terminology (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10), RESTful APIs, and modern stacks such as Java, Kubernetes, Postgres, and Kafka. - Experience collaborating with engineering in cloud-native environments and familiarity with CI/CD or software release cycles.
