Senior Product Engineer

Role overview Build and improve a collaborative knowledge product, taking features from early prototypes through reliable releases. You’ll work across product and engineering, contributing both to the editing experience and to AI-powered search and assistance on multiple user-facing surfaces.

Responsibilities - Deliver product features end to end, shaping prototypes into production-ready experiences. - Add data sources and tools to an AI assistant, and extend the editor with new blocks and capabilities. - Build complex React interfaces that remain performant, robust, and testable with mock data. - Adapt the assistant engine for channels such as browser extensions, desktop tools, and email digests. - Help maintain service quality through incident response, pairing, engineering discussions, and ongoing process improvements.

Requirements - Strong product judgment and sound software engineering fundamentals. - Ability to make progress on ambiguous problems and deliver polished, reliable user experiences. - Experience building substantial interfaces with React and TypeScript. - Comfort working across frontend and backend systems; the product uses Node.js, cloud infrastructure, databases, and real-time collaboration.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Slate.js, operational transformation, MongoDB, LangGraph, or AI agent tools and data connectors. - Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and component documentation tools.
