Senior Software Engineer Full stack (LATAM)

Role overview Design and deliver software across customer-facing and internal products in a distributed, cloud-based environment. This senior engineering role combines hands-on feature development with technical leadership: you’ll shape scalable systems, work with partners across the business, and help other engineers deliver strong results.

Responsibilities - Design and build application features, including React-based interfaces. - Contribute to distributed architecture that can scale while remaining consistent and maintainable. - Partner with product and business stakeholders to shape useful product capabilities. - Define and review metrics that guide ongoing product improvements. - Deliver tested, high-quality features that meet reporting standards. - Lead small project teams when needed and mentor fellow engineers.

Requirements - At least 10 years of full-stack software engineering experience. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable field. - Experience building and serving REST APIs with Java, Python, or a similar language. - Experience with distributed cloud architecture, including patterns such as transactional outboxes or messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka. - Ability to propose technical direction, build agreement, and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Nice to have - SQL relational database experience through an ORM. - Production observability experience with tools such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog. - CI/CD experience and familiarity with containerized microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS. - A track record of shipping commercial APIs or web applications and refining products using customer or stakeholder feedback.
