Principal Applied AI Architect

Role overview This is a senior, customer-facing architect role focused on applied AI within a Customer Outcomes consulting organization. The position partners with enterprise customers to design, scope, and deliver AI-powered solutions, sitting at the intersection of platform engineering, applied research, and pre/post-sales consulting for North American accounts. Work is remote within the United States with a flexible work persona.

Responsibilities - Lead the architectural design of applied AI solutions for customer engagements, translating business objectives into technical roadmaps and reference implementations. - Serve as a senior technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, including discovery, scoping, implementation, and value realization. - Collaborate with consulting delivery teams to ensure successful adoption of platform and AI capabilities across complex enterprise environments. - Provide architectural direction and thought leadership for the Platform & AI Customer Excellence practice across North America. - Translate field learnings into reusable patterns, reference architectures, and customer success assets.

Requirements - Principal-level experience designing and delivering applied AI or machine learning solutions in enterprise settings. - Track record of customer-facing consulting, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales work at the principal or senior architect level. - Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders. - Eligibility to work remotely within the United States in a flexible or remote capacity.

Nice to have - Experience with enterprise AI platforms, large language model integration patterns, or workflow automation products. - Background supporting customers across multiple industries or regulated environments.
