Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview A high-growth real estate technology company is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who moves fluidly across modern frameworks and treats AI tools as part of the daily toolkit. The position covers the full stack, from frontend product work through APIs, data modeling, and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on spec-driven development and rapid adoption of new tooling.

Responsibilities - Build and ship features across frontend and backend systems, moving between Next.js, SvelteKit, and Hono depending on what the problem requires. - Design schemas, optimize queries, and evolve the Postgres data layer as the primary system of record, with ClickHouse used for analytics. - Write TypeScript across the stack on React or Svelte frontends and Hono or Node.js services, and contribute Python services where appropriate. - Author technical specifications that define APIs, data models, and UI behavior before implementation begins. - Use AI-assisted development tools daily to increase velocity and code quality, and partner with product and design to translate requirements into working software. - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning, and improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, and automation. - Build and maintain mobile experiences using Expo and React Native.

Requirements - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience spanning frontend and backend. - Framework fluency with the ability to pick up new tools quickly, including working in Next.js, SvelteKit, and Hono without strong allegiances. - Strong TypeScript proficiency as the primary language, plus experience with multiple frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte, or Vue. - Familiarity with lightweight API frameworks like Hono, Express, or Fastify, and deep Postgres experience covering indexing, query optimization, and schema design. - Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message queues, plus daily use of AI coding assistants with developed workflows. - Working knowledge of frontier LLMs beyond surface-level prompting and a spec-driven approach to building. - Experience with Expo or React Native for mobile.

Nice to have - Background with GraphQL, serverless architectures, or ClickHouse. - Experience in real estate, marketplaces, or consumer products, and contributions to developer productivity or internal tooling.

Benefits and work setup - National base pay of $180,000 USD, with actual compensation based on skills, prior experience, and work location. - Remote-eligible within the United States, with occasional work at a company office or offsites as agreed with the manager. - Visa sponsorship is not currently available, so candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.
