Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack), Digital Storefront

Role overview A senior fullstack engineering role on a consumer-facing product team building online ordering, ecommerce, websites, SEO, branded mobile apps, and reputation management experiences used at very high scale. The team is highly product-oriented and focused on delivering polished, top-tier consumer experiences for restaurants and their guests. Work spans both backend and frontend, with engineers expected to influence product and business strategy, not just write code.

Responsibilities - Design, scope, and ship features across a modern fullstack environment, contributing to both architecture and implementation - Improve platform performance, usability, and scalability for high-traffic consumer surfaces - Partner closely with Design and Product to translate the right problems into the right solutions - Run experiments, iterate quickly, and own the path from idea to shipped impact - Work cross-functionally to ensure the broader product ecosystem fits together seamlessly

Requirements - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience - Backend experience with Java/Kotlin and Node.js - Frontend experience with React or Angular, plus CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap - Experience building on AWS, with tools like Docker and Git - Comfort translating high-fidelity Figma designs into production UI - Strong habits around testable code, API design, and unit/integration testing

Nice to have - Experience applying AI tools to engineering workflows - Familiarity with optimizing database autovacuum thresholds in Postgres
