Solutions Architect (Enterprise SaaS)

Role overview Guide enterprise clients from business goals to implementable software and cloud architecture. You will lead discovery, produce technical plans, assess legacy systems, and advise delivery teams through complex, multi-quarter transformation work.

Responsibilities - Facilitate discovery workshops with engineering leaders and other stakeholders. - Turn business needs into architecture specifications, API designs, and data migration plans. - Assess options such as refactoring a monolith, extracting services, or using serverless runtimes, and explain the trade-offs. - Work with engineering leads to estimate effort, staffing needs, and delivery timelines. - Review legacy platforms for technical feasibility and code quality. - Develop reusable architecture patterns that help client teams reach outcomes sooner.

Requirements - At least five years in technical architecture, solutions consulting, or senior engineering leadership. - Ability to explain distributed systems decisions to both executives and technical teams. - Strong grounding in cloud-native platforms, REST or GraphQL API design, and modern frontend architectures. - Experience scoping enterprise software engagements. - Strong client communication, empathy, and consultative problem solving.

Nice to have - Experience as a startup CTO or engineering director. - Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems, logistics dispatch platforms, or multi-vendor commerce.
