Senior Security Engineer

Role overview Lead security engineering across a product and its underlying platform, working with AI, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver practical protections for production systems. The work spans application and cloud security, automation, technical standards, and incident learning.

Responsibilities - Build secure services that detect vulnerabilities and support remediation. - Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews for new features. - Automate security work to reduce manual effort for engineering and analysis teams. - Set secure coding, deployment, and operational practices. - Mentor engineers and contribute to post-incident reviews.

Requirements - At least five years of security engineering experience. - Strong programming ability in Python and/or Go. - Hands-on experience in both application and infrastructure security. - Knowledge of cloud security controls and practices in AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines with integrated security automation. - Ability to explain technical risks clearly to engineering and business audiences.

Nice to have - Experience applying LLMs or AI-assisted workflows to security work. - Security certifications such as CISSP or OSCP, or equivalent. - Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance programs.
