Rust Developer - UK, Greece

Role overview Build and ship Rust software for high-performance distributed data processing and AI-enabled products. The work spans algorithm design, codebase improvements and cloud services, with regular collaboration with project stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities - Develop features and strengthen the performance, reliability and resilience of Rust services. - Design and implement data processing and optimisation solutions for complex business needs. - Build and operate scalable containerised cloud software with infrastructure as code. - Work with project stakeholders and customers to shape services around their needs. - Contribute to products involving machine learning, optimisation and AI.

Requirements - Commercial software development experience, including proven Rust experience. - Strong skills in low-latency data handling and transformation. - Understanding of distributed systems, scaling and resilience. - Experience building and managing containerised solutions on a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure. - Ability to work independently and solve complex problems. - Familiarity with practices and tools such as TDD, BDD, microservices, event-driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Nice to have Terraform, Kustomize, Argo CD or similar, Python, or Go.
