Role overview
We are hiring an SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect to design and lead cloud-based integration strategies connecting SAP and non-SAP systems across a multinational business. The role focuses on enabling a clean SAP S/4HANA core, driving migration from legacy middleware, and building event-driven, API-led architectures at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Define the overall integration architecture, aligning IT strategy with business goals across cloud-to-cloud, on-premise-to-cloud, and B2B scenarios. - Guide the development of integration flows using visual, BPMN-style tools within the Integration Suite. - Leverage capabilities including Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, and pre-built content from the API Business Hub. - Establish governance standards for integration patterns, security (OAuth2, certificates), monitoring, and observability. - Lead the migration from legacy platforms such as SAP PO to the cloud-native Integration Suite.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a related field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience with SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, API Management, and OpenConnectors. - Strong grasp of request-driven patterns (SOAP, REST, OData) and event-driven architectures. - Hands-on experience migrating from SAP PO or comparable legacy middleware to a cloud-native integration platform. - Experience integrating SaaS and in-house applications beyond pure SAP-to-SAP scenarios. - Background in a multinational, matrix organisation, with fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- SAP certifications in Integration Suite or BTP. - Groovy or JavaScript skills for custom integration logic.
