Technical Account Manager

Role overview

This is a remote Technical Account Manager role open to candidates based in Mexico, focused on driving long-term technical success for a portfolio of IoT platform customers. The position blends deep technical consulting with relationship management, serving as the primary technical advisor across accounts in sectors such as transportation, logistics, and field operations. The mission is to translate customer business goals into measurable platform outcomes while proactively safeguarding account health.

Responsibilities

- Own a portfolio of accounts independently, building tailored success plans and tracking technical ROI against customer objectives - Act as the primary technical point of contact, mastering platform APIs, hardware, and software to advise on best practices and resolve complex issues - Lead customer-facing sessions ranging from technical deep dives to executive quarterly business reviews - Manage the technical ticket lifecycle end-to-end, including escalations, root cause analysis, and post-incident follow-up - Leverage AI-powered tools and insights to anticipate customer needs and personalize engagement - Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product teams to champion customer requirements and feed product improvement

Requirements

- Proven experience in technical account management, customer success engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role - Deep technical acumen across APIs, software platforms, and connected hardware environments - Strong consultative problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on complex issues - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical staff and non-technical executives - Track record of independently managing customer portfolios, including success planning and risk mitigation - Fluency in English, with eligibility and legal right to work remotely in Mexico

- Background supporting IoT, telematics, video-based safety, or connected operations products - Experience working with enterprises in physical operations industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, or manufacturing
