Remote job
AI Architect - GTM Systems
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Define the technical direction for AI-powered automation across go-to-market systems. This senior individual-contributor role spans low-code workflow tools, custom AI agents, backend services, and enterprise governance. You will translate business priorities into architectural blueprints, prototype solutions yourself, establish reusable patterns, and raise the engineering standard for systems used across sales and revenue operations.
Responsibilities
- Set architecture standards for choosing between low-code automation, custom agentic workflows, and integrated hybrid solutions. - Design and prototype production-grade AI agents and the surrounding services, data flows, and cloud infrastructure. - Partner with GTM engineering leaders, operations teams, and senior business stakeholders to turn strategic goals into roadmaps with trade-offs, timelines, and success measures. - Define reference architectures, evaluation approaches, observability practices, and governance controls for AI-powered systems. - Conduct architecture reviews, identify systemic risks, and provide structured feedback that improves design quality across the engineering organization. - Document decisions and share technical guidance through architecture records, white papers, engineering wikis, and related internal materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including a track record of shipping production backend systems and at least three years in a technical leadership capacity. - Demonstrated personal experience building and deploying an AI agent used by real end users, with the ability to explain its problem, design, implementation, and outcome. - Hands-on knowledge of agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, or equivalent, plus practical RAG experience with vector stores, retrieval, chunking, and embeddings. - Strong Python and/or Node.js backend skills, including FastAPI or comparable frameworks, asynchronous design, event-driven systems, and cloud-native services. - Excellent communication skills for extracting requirements from non-technical stakeholders and converting them into buildable solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM evaluation and tracing tools, MCP or FastMCP, LiteLLM, Salesforce data, GTM or RevOps workflows, and AWS Bedrock. - Familiarity with model-provider behavior, prompt engineering, full-stack development, serverless systems, or mentoring and hiring engineers.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote role open to candidates in the United States, excluding San Francisco and New York. - No relocation assistance is provided.
